On July 19, 2019 at the Municipal Puppet Theater “Guguta” of Chisinau, under the aegis of the Children’s Rights Ombudsperson the piece of Gheorghe Urschi „Testamentul” was put on and its protagonists were the minors of the Penitentiary no.10 of Goian.
At this event were more than 300 persons, representatives of public, central and municipal authorities, UNICEF, civil society, mass-media and persons passionate about theatre. The spectators encouraged by their presence the actors into the custody to develop their skills and to realize their potential by cultural-sporting and other type activities.
The Children’s Rights Ombudsperson, Maia Banarescu thanked all who accepted the invitation to this event and highly appreciated the performance of the minors of Goian. The Children’s Rights Ombudsperson specified that the piece put on with the forces of minors which is still actual in our days was an incontestable success. Maia Banarescu promised that in the future she will support and encourage the nice initiatives for children, about children and with their participation.
In the message transmitted to the young actors, the piece author, Gheorghe Urschi called them to persevere in finding their vocation and realizing their talents. He also exhorted the minors to teach the lesson from the “Testamentul” piece where he invested passion, soul and suffering and not giving up the millennial values before the small pleasures and weaknesses, keeping the dignity and hope and referring to life, how unfair it would be, to make it better for them and those who are near them.
The minors and their mentors were congratulated for the piece they put on by the counselor of the president of the Republic of Moldova in the field of education, culture and research, Corneliu Popovici. He mentioned that this result was achieved only by the mutual effort and collaboration.
As a sign of gratitude for the performed work while organizing and presenting the spectacle, Maia Banarescu awarded with diplomas the children and their teachers.
The Children’s Rights Ombudsperson thanked the administration of the Municipal Puppet Theater “Guguta” and CS “IUVAS” for their assistance in organizing this event.
