Integrity whistleblowing is the disclosure in good faith by an employee of an illegal practice that constitutes a threat or harm to the public interest;
Integrity whistleblower is the employee who makes an integrity whistleblower;
Disclosure of illegal practices is a disclosure of manifestations of corruption, (use of the position, contrary to the law, in private interest. In this sense, the use of the position can take place within public or private entities, directly by the holder of the position or indirectly by to intermediaries, and the private interest may be the holder’s own or for other persons); of environmental violations, violations of the fundamental rights and freedoms of the person, those related to national security, as well as other violations, actions or inactions that threaten or harm the public interest;
Retaliation is considered any form of harassment, pressure, disadvantage or discrimination in the workplace that is related to or results from the whistleblowing.
