The agreement was elaborated within the project „Consolidation of cooperation and capacity of authors who promote and protect the rights of the national minorities”, supported by the OSCE Mission to Moldova, and – signed on November 15 by the heads of those three institutions at the OSCE office in the presence of the Mission head, Claus Neukirch.
According to the agreement the parties will collaborate for implementing the Strategy of consolidating interethnic relations in the Republic of Moldova for the period 2017-2027.
Through the intervention fields would be the promotion of the right to equality and equal protection of persons who belong to the national minorities; realization of the right to education and training in the mother tongues by this category of persons; improvement of their equal access to services, medical care, equal access to justice; informing and enabling the representatives of the national minorities, inclusively by the participation to the elaboration of documents in the languages of the national minorities; creating the necessary conditions so that the persons who belong to the national minorities to be represented within the central and local public authorities etc.
In the agreement it is also mentioned that the collaboration relations between the parties will be performed by choosing every year a priority cooperation field or sub-field.
