 The mission of the Department is to ensure the exercise of the legal duties of the People’s Advocate/ People’s Advocate for Child’s Rights by assisting them in the process of improving the public policy/ national legislation in the field of human rights and freedoms, standards and approaches based on human rights.

The mission of the Department is to ensure the exercise of the legal duties of the People’s Advocate by monitoring the implementation and promotion of international human rights standards in order to influence the situation in the field of human rights and freedoms in the Republic of Moldova.

The mission of the Department is to ensure the exercise of the legal duties of the People’s Advocate and the People’s Advocate for Child’s Rights by examining and investigating the accepted applications objectively, impartially and according with the standardized procedure.

The mission of the Department is to ensure the exercise of the legal duties of the People’s Advocate/ Ombudsman for the Child’s Rights in the field of prevention of torture and punishment, inhuman or degrading treatment.

The mission of the Department is to ensure the exercise of the legal duties of the People’s Advocate for the Child’s Rights by assisting in monitoring the implementation at the national level of the provisions of the UN Convention for the Child’s Rights and its promotion.

The mission of the Department is to proactively promote human rights and freedoms in the society, to ensure effective communication of the People’s Advocate Office with partners as from the country as from abroad.

The UHR’s mission is to contribute on achieving the strategic objectives of the People’s Advocate Office by promoting and implementing effective human resource management.

The mission of the Unit is to provide advices and to ensure the objectives of the effectiveness of the financial management and control system, contributing on gaining value and providing recommendations for its improving.

The Secretariat is established as an autonomous subdivision and it is subordinated directly to the General Secretary; the Service has a seal with indices of its name.

The unit operates in collaboration with the structural subdivisions and representations of the People’s Advocate Office, the public authorities, the individual persons whose rights have been violated on the territory of the Republic of Moldova.

The mission of the Bălți Representative is to promote systemic and structural improvements related to the strategic objectives and priorities set out into the Institutional Plan for Strategic Development by contributing to the achievement of the People’s Advocate and the People’s Advocate for Child’s Rights in the northern regions of the Republic of Moldova.

The mission of the Cahul Representative is to contribute to the achievement of the People’s Advocate / People’s Advocate for Child’s Rights in the southern districts of the country.

The mission of the Comrat Representative is to contribute to the fulfillment of the duties of the People’s Advocate / People’s Advocate for Child’s Rights in ATU Gagauzia.

The mission of the Varniţa Representative is to ensure the work of the People’s Advocate and the People’s Advocate for Child’s Rights monitoring human/child’s rights and freedoms in the Transnistrian region, including in the security area, to increase the access of people living on the left bank of the Dniester to the People’s Advocate Institution; the development of collaboration with civil society organizations operating in the localities on the left bank of the Dniester River.
